Hey there! I’m Sheryka, creator of The Proactive Planner blog and YouTube channel, and coauthor of Mini Money Lessons for Teens: The Little Guide That Sparks Big Discussions. I also cohost The Money & Mindset podcast, available on Anchor, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other media platforms.
I reside in Oklahoma with my husband, Marquiz, and our teenagers, Trinity and Donovan.
My goal is to be financially independent and work optional (on my own terms). I’ve got a plan in place (in writing…that’s important) and I’m on track.
I am thankful for all the other creatives who provide content that focuses on budgeting, financial independence, and minimalism. They are motivational and help prevent me from falling back into the “consumer debt is okay” mindset. And to show my appreciation and pay it forward, I hope to do the same for you too.
